Benjamin Hubert

Lovely products. I really like the pod chair, beacause of its use and the materials and colors he chose. It is really cool to see on his web site how it is made and how many models he has done before the final one. Talking about the pendant lamps: I just love their simple shape and the rough material. We need more natural materials in our houses: natural materials are alive and they give a cozy feeling to the space, even if it is rough concrete.

Eating Experiences

I appreciate when design meets food, but what she does I believe it goes a little over the common sense of food designs: it's more like mood design. As she sais ''food is already perfectly designed by nature'' and what she does is create an experience: ''food goes to stomach, but it can also activate the brain and can rouse strong memories and emotions''. I have to say that I totally believe in what she sais and I think that restaurants should work more and more with emotions and senses. Eating is such an amazing moment of the day and some new rituals could help enjoying it in the best way, or simply in another way, that goes over the typical food consumption. Great job Marije.

Estudio Estres

This studio is pretty cool. They both make products and graphics and I have to say that they have a Swedish like style, but with a neat spanish twist. Moreover, look at them:

Elia Maurizi

The mountain like shoes seem to be a must this winter here in Milan, but I really like these. They look comfy and simple. I like the hooks for the laces and the soft look: most of the shoes I saw with this style look really tough and sporty and I'm always a little thoughtful in front on them, just because I wouldn't know what to wear with them, but these! I would wear them every day! The website is pretty cool too.

Rianne Koens

I love these! Every element is a drawer that becomes a stool when needed. I like the shape, friendly and fresh, the colors and materials she used. Rianne is a young designer and she just graduated from the Eindhoven's Design Academy and she already won a couple of prizes.

FxBalléry

I like how they use colors juxtaposed with wood!

Ryue Nishizawa

Vertical Garden House, Ryue Nishizawa

I like this building because it doensn't really have the aspect of an actual building. Looks more like a structure with plants on it, but the interiors are cool too. There is not a true facade and it has been built on a tiny urban lot!

Wendy Wassink

Dutch product designer Wendy Wassink is a graduate of the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts, the Netherlands.
Her Daily Movements project focuses on everyday items shaped by shadow and use. The tableware collection includes a water canister and drinking glass, porcelain milk jug, oil bottle with a cork top, aluminium sugar pot and mugs with plastic handles.
‘My collection is about the beauty of simple actions,’ Wassink says. ‘To focus all attention on the act of pouring, I avoided every form of decoration. The materials reinforce the sensory experience of the action involved.’
For example, Wassink says she created the sugar pot from aluminium to amplify the sound a spoon makes when scooping sugar from the container. [

Tomas Kral

I'm so happy when I discover designers that make things I'd love to have in my apartment. I have to say that I like pretty much everything he designed... I love how he works with glass and cheap materials like wood and ceramic.
I'm so happy!

Dimitrios Stamatakis

I like the contrast between wood and light.
I also like the funny shape of this lamp.

Martin Solem

Nice and simple.

Hello Little Printer

How cool is this printer? You can print your To do list or notes, addresses, sudokus, news and just take them with you and read them when you have some spare time. Love it!

Something about this man....

Something about this man Nickelson Wooster intrigues me.   I love the shot and those trousers! Who do you think this person is? Sometimes I get lost in my own narrative and depiction of someone through in a single image.  I just really love everything about this images and his look.

Hasso bags

Check out this New Packbag company!  I love the look and the practicality of a good backpack.  Crafted in Bogotá, Colombia these remarkably well made bags are cleverly designed are both durable and convenient.   HASSO

My new years goal it to be better at remembering where I find these images.  I've gotten really into the cocktails lately and need a table like this with mix and experiment on!  I don't even own a shot glass or a shaker!  haha It's all an experiment ha

How wonderful is this room?  The sails give a nice airy quality to the space and Im totally into the 'tumble weed' balls and look at that story book headboard!  Totally envious of high ceilings!
